What PusherZ collects
- Account: email address or Apple/Google sign-in identifier, display name, optional profile photo, year of birth (only to confirm you are 18+), language, time zone and unit preferences.
- Activity summaries: when you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, or use a live session, the app reads steps, walking/running distance, workouts of walking/running/hiking type and motion activity. The app sends per-minute step totals and activity intervals for a challenge’s time window to our servers to verify the challenge. We store only the evaluated result (for example, minutes and steps counted per day), not the raw health records.
- Optional weight data: if you choose to log weight, entries are stored in your private account area. They are never shown to other users, groups, leaderboards or feeds.
- Social content: group posts, comments, reactions, chat messages and reports you submit.
- Device data: push notification tokens, crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and, only if you opt in, anonymous usage analytics (Firebase Analytics). Analytics never include health or weight values.
- Advertising: after you are in the app, an advertising identifier and ordinary device signals may be shared with the ad partners described below. This is separate from your account.
How it is used
To run challenges, verify activity, award points, show leaderboards and feeds within your groups, send the notifications you enabled, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data. Health data and weight are not used for advertising.
Advertising
After you confirm you are 18 or older and finish setup, PusherZ may show a banner along the bottom of the main screens. The banner is requested through Unity LevelPlay. ironSource and Meta Audience Network bid to fill it. The mediation SDK also includes a Unity Ads adapter. Those partners may receive an advertising identifier and ordinary device signals (such as device type, language, IP address and coarse location inferred from the IP address) so they can choose and measure an ad.
They do not receive your weight, health records, messages, group posts, email address or year of birth. On iOS, the system tracking prompt controls whether the advertising identifier can be used for more relevant ads. You can decline and keep using PusherZ. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in system settings.
Tapping an ad opens the advertiser’s page. That page is not operated by PusherZ, and the advertiser’s own terms and privacy policy apply there.
Who can see what
- Group members see your display name, photo, points, challenge completions (if “Share my completed challenges” is on) and content you post in that group.
- Your weight, year of birth, email and raw activity data are never visible to other users.
Processors and location
Account and activity data is processed by Google Firebase / Google Cloud (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics). Server resources are configured in the europe-west1 region. Banner ads are processed by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and Meta Audience Network. Their processing is separate from your PusherZ account.
Retention
Group feed events are kept for up to 180 days, chat messages for 180 days, in-app notifications for 30 days. Account data is kept until you delete your account.
Your controls
- Download your data from Settings → Account management.
- Delete your account from Settings → Account management. This removes your profile, activity summaries, weight entries, posts, messages and points.
- Revoke health access at any time in the Apple Health or Health Connect app.
- On iOS, change tracking permission for PusherZ in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, reset your advertising ID in system settings.
Age
PusherZ is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

PusherZ is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
